Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a camera hardware engineer to design and develop advanced camera modules for Apple products. You will drive component-level requirements, create schematics, and supervise PCB/Flex layout while addressing high-speed signal integrity and power integrity challenges.

You will collaborate across teams to simulate, test, and validate designs, develop prototypes for new features, and document designs for manufacturing partners. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of industry experience.
• Experience in analog and/or digital circuit design and schematic capture.
• Experience in signal and power integrity (high-speed design, PDN analysis).
• Knowledge of grounding, shielding, EMI, EMC and ESD in system integration.

Responsibilities

• Independently drive component level requirements and develop schematic designs for camera modules.
• Analyze circuit parasitics and tolerances for operation across voltage and temperature ranges.
• Supervise layout for PCB, Flex, and substrates.
• Address power quality and high-speed signal integrity challenges.
• Create clear electrical documentation for design and manufacturing partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to simulate, test, and validate designs.
• Develop electronic prototypes for new camera features.
