Job summary

Zifo is seeking a Lab Automation Analyst to provide technical automation services across multivendor instruments and software at our Cambridge, MA site. You will work with customers, developers and support teams to implement automated solutions and improve lab efficiency.

Requirements include a BS in CS or Life Science, 2+ years of automation experience, and proficiency with Python, Java, or C#. Experience with Cellario or Green Button Go is a plus. On-site work at Cambridge is required.

Qualifications

• BS in computer science, life science or equivalent industry experience.
• 2+ years of relevant technical experience in biotech/pharma or automation services.
• Experience with scientific instrumentation is preferred.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety practices as defined by site policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for customer laboratory environments.
• Maintain and troubleshoot automation equipment such as liquid handlers, plate readers, and robotic systems.
• Install, operate, maintain, and train users on instruments and automation software.
• Configure in-lab settings for automation software to train robotic equipment.
• Develop and run unit test scripts for in-lab automation.
• Collaborate with discovery, engineering and biology groups to optimize research efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with client policies through reporting and audits.
• Document procedures, troubleshooting and best practices.
