Zifo is seeking an experienced Scientific Automation Lead in Boston to drive design, architecture, and delivery of scalable automation across scientific workflows. You will partner with scientists, IT teams, and clients to translate complex experimental workflows into production-ready automations, emphasizing quality, security, and regulatory compliance.

You will lead architecture, CI/CD practices, and solution delivery, mentoring engineers while integrating Benchling, LIMS, ELN, SDMS, and CDS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 6+ years in automation and software engineering, with 3+ years in customer engagement.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end automation initiatives from discovery to production support, ensuring scalable, reusable solutions.
• Design automation frameworks, APIs, microservices, and data pipelines.
• Lead integration with Benchling, LIMS, ELN, SDMS, and CDS.
• Ensure security, data integrity, performance, auditability, and regulatory compliance (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
