Job summary

mtb is seeking a Senior Calypso Platform Expert to design and implement scalable, secure Calypso solutions across Front to Back Office. You will lead integrations, configurations, and upgrades while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with business stakeholders.

The role focuses on architecture, performance, and governance of the Calypso platform, ensuring alignment with risk, regulatory, and operations objectives. A strategic thinker capable of driving modernization will excel.

Qualifications

• Deep Calypso expertise with platform configurations.
• Experience driving platform upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of capital markets workflows, risk, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, oversee, configure, and develop advanced Calypso solutions and multisystem integrations across Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Collateral, Risk, Accounting, Settlements, and Reporting.
• Optimize workflows, platform functionality, and system efficiency while reviewing and approving solutions.
• Serve as the technical and thought leader for the Calypso platform, mentoring team members.
• Lead sessions with business stakeholders to define epics, features, and requirements.
• Translate business requirements into solution designs, technical specs, and operational docs.
• Drive Calypso integration through secure APIs, messaging, and file-based solutions.
• Coordinate lifecycle plans across technology and present strategy to senior leaders.
