Job summary

Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa is seeking a dependable part-time Accounts Receivable & Payable Specialist to support the accounting department. You will manage daily AR and AP tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and provide excellent customer and vendor service.

The ideal candidate will bring 2+ years of AR/AP experience, proficiency with Excel, and strong attention to detail. A personal commitment to ministry and high level of confidentiality is expected in this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send customer invoices.
• Post customer payments and maintain records.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on past-due invoices.
• Process vendor invoices and PO matching.
• Prepare weekly check runs and electronic payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements.
• Assist with month-end closing.
• Prepare reports and spreadsheets in Excel.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and staff.

As Accounts Receivable & Payable, you would be responsible for managing daily AR and AP functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing excellent customer and vendor service. The ideal candidate will be a minister of the Gospel in this position and will have a strong relationship with Jesus Christ.
