Cal Poly Pomona Foundation, Inc. is seeking part-time, non-exempt staff to contribute to CALSys Lab research activities in Pomona, CA. The positions offer 10 hours per week at an hourly rate of $18.50 with no benefits.

Roles include data mining, machine learning, and generation of reports and presentations with potential remote work during research milestones. Assignments run during the academic semester and can be renewed based on performance and funding.

Commontasksincludemachinelearninganddataminingactivitiestoenhance cyberthreat intelligence, aswellastheproduction oftechnicalreports andpresentations. Thelabpersonnelusually meeteveryweektodiscussmilestones andaccomplishments,andboth themeetings andthe realresearch work canbedoneremotely.
