Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, GA is seeking a dedicated switchboard operator to join our team. This role supports the main switchboard, physician answering service, and public safety dispatch, ensuring accurate, timely communications and patient-first service.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of call center or dispatch experience, a High School diploma or GED, and a strong customer-service mindset. Shift: 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, full-time, on-site opportunity.

Qualifications

• 1 year of call center, operator, dispatching, or related office experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Main switchboard operator for Piedmont Athens Regional, the Physician Answering Service, and Public Safety dispatch.
• Support emergent public broadcasting within the main facility and ensure accurate communications.
