Position Overview

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE SUPPORTING COMMERCIAL AND PUBLIC SECTOR CLIENTS

We are looking for Customer Service Representatives to support inbound customer service, help desk, and back-office processing for commercial and public sector clients. You will handle inquiries, troubleshoot basic technical issues, assist callers with products, and professionally represent recognizable brands.

Position Responsibilities

WHAT DOES SOMEONE IN THIS ROLE ACTUALLY DO?

This position involves customer service, technical support, and sales interactions. You will resolve support issues, sell products/services, and ensure excellent customer experiences. Candidates should be confident, engaged, team-oriented, and positive.

Essential Duties
  • Handle inbound/outbound contacts courteously and professionally
  • Listen, understand, and resolve customer issues
  • Use systems to manage accounts and document claims
  • Follow scripts, policies, and procedures
  • Use knowledge base and training to answer questions
  • Protect confidential and personal information
  • Escalate issues appropriately
  • Aim for first call resolution
  • Attend training and stay updated on systems and processes
  • Maintain attendance and schedule adherence
Candidate Qualifications

Required
  • Must be 18+ years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with data entry and computer use
  • Fluent in English (reading and speaking)
  • High-speed internet (20Mbps+)
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Typing speed of 20+ WPM
  • Availability for scheduled shifts during operational hours
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to troubleshoot and follow up on issues
  • Customer-oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient)
  • Multi-tasking and self-management skills
  • Team-oriented and adaptable to fast-paced environments
  • Strong interpersonal skills
Preferred (Not Required)
  • 1+ year in customer support or related roles
  • Experience with government or federal work
Compensation Details

Physical Requirements

This role is primarily sedentary, involving sitting/standing for long periods, operating a computer and phone, and occasionally moving or lifting objects up to 40 pounds.
