CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE

Position Type: Full-time/No weekends/No Holidays

Location: Lebanon, PA or Willow Street, PA

Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster (OAL) is one of the most respected orthopedic practices in the area, providing trusted care for generations throughout Central Pennsylvania. Our Locations consist of Lancaster, Willow Street, Manheim, and Lebanon, PA. OAL is a progressive practice that prides itself on quality service and patient care.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective: We are currently seeking a Call Center Representative who is a friendly, team-orientated, and self-motivated individual who is able to function in a fast-paced office environment while providing exceptional service to our patients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls and respond to caller inquiries regarding appointments or general information
  • Schedule appointments in accordance with the timing needs of callers and Provider availability
  • Route calls to relevant department or personnel
  • Making follow up phone calls to patients and facilities
  • Obtain, enter and verify insurance and patient demographic information
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with windows-based computer programs.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with the public.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a call center is preferred.
  • Previous medical office experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
  • Excellent customer skills and a team-oriented approach to work.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to be flexible to patient needs.
