Pharmacy Call Center Representative - FT (Remote)

Overview

Scope of Responsibilities: Demonstrate knowledge of Kinney Drugs retail pharmacy resources to effectively handle patient inquiries, update records, and service requests accurately and efficiently.

Job Summary: Entry-level role working under supervision, following standard procedures, assisting staff, and handling incoming and outbound calls independently. Provide support to peers and leadership as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Handle patient care center calls, including incoming, outbound, and directing calls appropriately.
  • Master and work efficiently within the pharmacy systems used by the Patient Care Center.
  • Resolve patient service questions to ensure satisfaction.
  • Support training and development efforts within our pharmacies.
  • Understand pharmacy technology and workflows, including dispensing, data entry, and adjudication.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and operational policies, including HIPAA standards.
  • Learn and execute specific pharmacy management system functions.
  • Follow instructions, complete tasks promptly, and uphold quality standards.
  • Act with integrity and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Participate in pharmacy service projects and complete mandatory training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Experience: Preferred 0-2 years as a Pharmacy Technician or Customer Service Representative in healthcare.

Educational Requirements: Minimum High School Diploma or GED.

Compensation

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour, with final offer based on skills, experience, and education. Complies with all relevant wage laws.
