Arcadis is seeking a California Wastewater Practice Lead to drive growth, innovation, and delivery across California, translating national strategy into local priorities and acting as a visible technical leader.

The role requires senior leadership, client engagement with utilities, mentoring of technical staff, and cross-functional collaboration to address regulatory, climate, and infrastructure challenges in wastewater.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or a related field required.
• PE license in California or ability to obtain within 6 months required.
• 15+ years of experience in the wastewater sector, with consulting and business development experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead Regional Practice Strategy: Translate national wastewater strategy into California-specific priorities driving growth, technical excellence, and innovation.
• Advance Strategic Clients: Identify priority clients and opportunities, build trusted relationships, and lead technical positioning, client workshops, and major pursuits.
• Ensure Project Excellence: Oversee delivery of complex wastewater projects from planning through construction, ensuring quality, risk management and strong client outcomes.
• Collaborate Across Disciplines: Partner with cross-functional leaders to deliver integrated solutions addressing regulatory, climate, and infrastructure challenges in California wastewater.
• Develop and Inspire Talent: Mentor emerging technical leaders and champion a culture of collaboration and professional development.
