You will represent clients in administrative hearings and assist with labor compliance. The ideal candidate will have a J.D., be admitted to the California State Bar, and possess strong research and analytical skills. This position offers competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the State Bar of California and in good standing.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Strong interest and/or experience working with public agencies or school districts.
Knowledge of California labor and employment laws.

Responsibilities

Advise public agency clients on personnel matters including hiring, discipline, and termination.
Handle matters related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and employee leave laws.
Represent clients in administrative hearings, grievance arbitrations, and collective bargaining negotiations.
Assist clients with labor compliance, policy development, and internal investigations.
Collaborate with colleagues across multiple offices on complex, high-impact cases.
