Job summary

Rula Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensed in California to join our contracted provider network. This 1099 opportunity allows you to deliver high-quality care while Rula handles credentialing, billing, marketing, and compliance.

You will conduct psychiatric assessments, manage medication plans, and provide telehealth services within our HIPAA-compliant EHR system.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted license and valid California DEA number.
• 1+ years as a PMHNP with mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, medication management, and crisis management.
• Independent licensure or collaboration with MD as required by state law.
• PMHNP certification by ANCC.
• Registration with state PMP.
• No suspensions/debarments in past 3 years.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in psychiatric mental health nursing.
• Ability to provide telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments including psychiatric workups and treatment planning.
• Manage medication and treatment plans for patients with mental health issues.
• Work with telehealth platforms and our EHR system.
• Collaborate with Care Coordination and Support teams.
• Structure follow-up sessions (60 min initial, 30 min follow-ups).
• Focus on patient care with credentialing, billing, and marketing managed by Rula.
