Job summary

The Campaign for College Opportunity seeks a highly organized, relationship-driven Partnership Coordinator to strengthen our network of students, advocates, educators, institutions, and community partners across California. This full-time hybrid role involves 30–40% travel, with a preference for Sacramento-based candidates.

You will work across policy, research, communications, development, and operations to activate partnerships, support coalition engagement, and advance higher education

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in higher education, advocacy, organizing, coalition management, student engagement, leadership development, community engagement, public policy, or related field.
  • Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Experience organizing events, workshops, trainings, meetings, or community engagement activities.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate coalition meetings, events, communications and partner engagement across statewide coalitions.
  • Organize meetings, trainings, briefings, and convenings with Campaign partners and stakeholders.
  • Translate coalition priorities into coordinated activities and action with staff and partners.
  • Expand opportunities for students to inform and participate in advocacy and policy work.
  • Track participation, engagement, and deliverables for learning, evaluation, and funder reporting.
  • Improve partner and student experience and engagement practices.
