Job summary

Consilio LLC is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney to lead its California office. The role centers on California automotive breach of warranty defense, building the first CA team, and establishing office routines and client relationships in the Greater Los Angeles area.

The successful candidate will manage the docket, lead two to six attorneys initially, and partner with leadership on staffing, technology, and facilities while maintaining active litigation practice.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active California State Bar member in good standing.
• Significant experience defending automotive breach of warranty and related matters.
• Substantial California litigation experience with ownership of case strategy.
• Ability to lead attorneys and collaborate with paralegals and staff.
• Strong knowledge of California civil procedure and litigation practices.
• Excellent judgment, legal writing, and client communication.
• Willingness to work from Greater Los Angeles office on a regular cadence.

Responsibilities

• Manage California automotive breach of warranty docket and related matters.
• Lead matters from initial assessment through resolution or trial.
• Develop practical case strategies balancing risk, objectives, costs, and timing.
• Maintain clear, responsive communication with clients.
• Oversee quality and timeliness of work across the docket.
