Job summary

Moxie Inc. is seeking a Medical Director to oversee aesthetic partnerships with RN, NP, and PA providers, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care.

This remote, contract role requires California licensure, an MD with plastic surgery or dermatology background, and the ability to mentor clinical teams.

You will vet injectors, approve treatment menus, review protocols, and support state-law compliant supervision across participating practices.

Qualifications

• Active California Medical License required.
• MD with Plastic Surgery or Dermatology background preferred.
• Minimum two NP oversight slots and one PA oversight slot required.
• Prior experience as collaborating physician or Medical Director in aesthetics.
• Formal training in injectables (Botox, fillers) and other aesthetic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise aesthetic treatments across partner injectors.
• Approve treatment menus (Botox, fillers, lasers) and review protocols/SOPs/consent forms.
• Review and sign protocols, SOPs, and consent forms; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Be available for emergencies and ongoing clinical supervision within state law.
• Mentor and support RNs, PAs, and NPs; participate in clinical decision-making.
• Vetting and interviewing injectors; partner with them in accordance with state law.
