Job summary

The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, seeks a guest-focused Bartender in Riverside, CA. You will greet guests, craft beverages, upsell menu items, and deliver timely, accurate service in a luxury setting.

We value 2–4 years of bartender experience, mixology knowledge, and a passion for exceptional guest experiences. Competitive hourly pay and an inclusive, people-first culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering memorable guest service in a fast-paced bar.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
• Ability to describe menu items and upsell drinks.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive and engage at the bar area.
• Maintain proper bar setup daily and keep it stocked.
• Describe beverages to guests and guide their choices.
• Take orders accurately and confirm special requests.
• Be the master of the bar, with attention to detail.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Resolve guest concerns to leave them satisfied.
• Present final bills promptly and accurately.
• Stock beer, wine, spirits; manage garnishes and perishables.
• Mix and garnish drinks per recipes and portion control.
• Input orders into POS and print checks for guests.
• Lock and secure beverages, food, and equipment; manage cash drops.

The Bartender is responsible for delivering memorable hospitality to our guests with genuine and personable connections and engaging service from the initial greeting to their departure. As a Bartender, it is your responsibility to seek to understand the guest’s needs while preparing perfect beverages in a timely manner.
