Placement By Design, Inc. seeks an experienced Architectural Project Manager with NCARB certification and CA licensure for commercial and industrial projects.

This hybrid role combines Monday-Thursday on-site in Arlington, TX with remote work on Fridays. The ideal candidate will lead project teams, manage client relationships, ensure design development and construction document production, and safeguard schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• NCARB certified Architect.
• Licensed in California; other state licenses a plus.
• BS, BA or MA in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Knowledge of Building and Accessibility Codes required.
• Proficient in production of design development and construction documents.
• Proficient in architectural planning, detailing, materials and methods.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Minimum 7 years managing multiple complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Project point person for Client, Principals, and all discipline personnel.
• Maintain financial success, quality of documents, client service, and schedule performance.
• Administrator for Consultant and Sub-Consultant Agreements.
• Initiates project startup and coordinates document prep and construction administration.
• Communicates scope changes with client and negotiates added fees where needed.

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager with NCARB certification and licensed in California for a growth opportunity to work on commercial and industrial projects.

This is a hybrid work schedule working Monday-Thursday onsite in Arlington, TX and remote on Fridays.

Responsibilities:

• project point person and for the Client, Principals, and all discipline personnel working on the project
• primary responsibility for the projects’ financial success, quality of documents, delivery of service to the client, and schedule performance.
• administrator for the Consultant Agreement and applicable Sub-Consultant Agreements.
• initiates project start-up, manages document preparation, and coordinates construction administration activities.
• communicates and documents scope of work changes by the client, and with assistance from the Program Manager negotiates added fee and approval for them.

Qualifications:

• NCARB certified Architect.
• Licensed in California. Other state licenses a plus.
• BS, BA or MA in Architecture from an accredited educational program.
• Must have demonstrated competency in the subjects of Building and Accessibility Codes.
• Must have demonstrated proficiency in procedures for production of design development and construction documents, architectural planning, detailing, building materials and construction means and methods.
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Revitproficiency a plus.
• Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to take initiative and function with minimal supervision.
• Must have demonstrated strong communication and organizational skills.
• minimum 7 years of successful experience in managing multiple, multi- disciplined complex projects or multiple small projects.
• Experience with commercial and industrial projects.
