Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• At least 2 years of insurance defense or relevant litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and case management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet annual billable-hour requirements.
• Trial experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle insurance defense litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions and represent clients in court proceedings.
• Develop litigation strategies and manage case files, deadlines, and discovery.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other legal professionals.
• Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial as needed.
