Job summary

Arcadis seeks an experienced Environmental Planner to support utility infrastructure maintenance programs in California. You will manage environmental planning, permitting, and project delivery, with emphasis on CEQA/NEPA compliance, and coordination with biologists and archaeologists to ensure quality deliverables.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Urban Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.
Seven years of experience in the environmental field with at least five years in environmental consulting.
Knowledge of California and federal permit requirements, including CEQA and NEPA.
Experience with planning, permitting, and support of linear infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage environmental planning and permitting projects.
Oversee environmental permits, technical reports, work plans, and other documentation to support permitting for linear infrastructure.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery and adherence to budgets and deadlines.
