Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Environmental Planner to support our utility infrastructure maintenance programs in California. You will lead environmental planning, permitting, and project delivery, focusing on linear infrastructure in California.

The role requires strong knowledge of state and federal permit requirements (CEQA/NEPA) and collaboration with biologists and archaeologists to ensure project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental field and 7+ years in environmental consulting.
• Strong knowledge of California and federal permit requirements (CEQA/NEPA).
• Experience in planning, permitting and supporting linear infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage environmental planning and permitting projects to ensure successful outcomes.
• Oversee and review environmental permits, technical reports, work plans and memoranda.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff to deliver projects on time and within budget.
