Terracon is seeking a Senior Principal Archaeologist to lead and grow its Cultural Resources Services in California, based in Concord. You will act as a senior technical authority, manage projects and staff, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver defensible cultural resources solutions for regional and national clients.

You will guide CEQA/NEPA compliance, coordinate field activities, mentor staff, and help expand Terracon’s California markets while traveling to project sites and other

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 8+ years’ related experience, or 12+ years without a degree.
• Meets the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualification Standards for Archaeology.
• Experience leading complex archaeological investigations with defensible reports and regulatory deliverables.

Responsabilidades

• Lead safety and compliance for assigned teams and projects.
• Serve as Principal Investigator and senior technical authority for archaeological projects in California.
• Provide strategic leadership for CEQA/NEPA compliance and related laws.
• Direct preparation and review of technical reports and environmental documents.
• Grow Terracon’s California Cultural Resources practice and mentor staff.
• Collaborate across Terracon offices and disciplines for integrated solutions.
