Terracon seeks an experienced Cultural Resources Archaeologist Lead to help lead our Albuquerque office’s Environmental Planning & Permitting practice. You will supervise the team, mentor staff, and support project delivery across wetlands, NEPA, T&E, and related environmental work.

You will partner with Desert Southwest leaders to grow market share, manage reports, and advance safety culture. Travel up to 25% and in-office work three days per week are expected in this role.

Qualifications

• Advanced graduate degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in the practice.
• Strong writing skills; experience with proposals, budgets, and finances.
• Familiar with the Arizona Antiquities Act, NHPA, NEPA and related laws.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff on data collection and reporting.
• Able to work in teams and build networks across the division.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel 10–25%.
• Able to pass drug screen and background check.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
