Job summary

Field Calibrations, Inc. is a Phoenix-based calibration lab seeking a mid-level Calibration Technician (Metrology) to perform routine and non-routine calibrations and repairs under supervision.

You will contribute to lab throughput, maintain cleanliness, and support internal proficiency checks, with opportunities for progression. The role requires a high school diploma or metrology training, at least 2 years of calibration experience, and familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus metrology training or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 2+ years calibration experience in lab or military PMEL.
• Understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 traceability and calibration certificate requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations on secondary standards and customer units across your qualified disciplines.
• Document findings in calibration records and follow procedures precisely.
• Identify out‑of‑tolerance conditions and escalate to Lead or Senior Technician for adjudication or repair.
• Maintain bench cleanliness, organization, and traceability of the calibration bench.
• Occasionally accompany a Lead or Senior Technician on customer on-site work.
