Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret instrument drawings, diagrams, tables, specifications and technical documentation.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take a lead role in assigned duties.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret technical information and apply it to maintenance and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Make critical decisions effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Document all equipment service activities, repairs, and modifications in the Maintenance Logbook.
• Meet project deadlines and complete breakdown maintenance in a timely manner.
• Maintain calibration records neatly, accurately and organized.
• Demonstrate understanding of instruments and instrument systems; diagnose issues, repair and recalibrate as needed.
• Perform emergency repairs, routine calibrations, preventive and scheduled maintenance on instruments and systems.
• Use drawings, sketches, diagrams, tables, specifications and handbooks to install, repair and maintain instruments.
• Connect and disconnect electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic connections in control loops.
• Diagnose and resolve instrumentation-related issues to support reliable operation.
• Support improvements of instrumented systems used in manufacturing operations.
