Job Description

We are seeking a Calibration Technician to join our Shop Team at Aldinger Co, a leading calibration services provider.

Our Team of Calibration Technicians is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of calibrating various measuring devices and instruments across multiple fields.

As a Calibration Lab Technician, you will work out of our Dallas, TX office to calibrate equipment across different fields. You will perform routine and complex work related to the repair and calibration of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical or technical background with exposure to calibration procedures. Experience in our industry is not required; training will be provided. This role is suitable for both entry-level candidates and those with experience.

Location: On-site at our Dallas, TX office.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Complete accurate and timely calibrations in our shop.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with ISO17025.
  • Perform routine and complex calibration on various equipment following company processes and documentation.
  • Calibrate devices and instruments according to established procedures and standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients throughout the calibration process, providing updates and needed services.
  • Ensure calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards.
  • Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring data accuracy and currency.
  • Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support.

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods.
  • Quick learner of mechanical and technical skills.
  • Experience in a technical or mechanical role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of metrology principles, procedures, and techniques.
  • Experience with Electrical, Physical, and Mechanical Calibration.
  • Experience with Manufacturer Quality Systems.
  • Associate's Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or related fields.
  • Technical Degree or Certificate.
  • Military PMEL Training.
  • Metrology experience.
  • Experience with IndySoft software.
