Job summary

CMI Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a motivated calibration/inspection technician to join our Aerospace & Defense manufacturing team. The role focuses on setting up dial bore gauges and other precision gages, performing basic shop math, and working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience as a mechanical inspector using dial bore gauges, bridge gauges, indicating micrometers, Sunnen gauges.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 15 pounds, and perform basic shop math.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily set up and tear down of dial bore gauges, Mueller gauges, indicator mics, Sunnen gauges, etc.
• Troubleshooting gauges as needed.

Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing Facility in South Phoenix

Shift: Full time, day shift

Requirements:

• Experience as a calibration technician / Gage Crib attendant is a plus
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, stoop, squat, sit and/or walk the majority of the shift
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds unassisted
• Will need to use basic shop math & interpret basic work instructions.
• Ability to work well with others & follow instructions
• 3 years’ experience as a mechanical inspector using dial bore gages, bridge gages, indicating micrometers, Sunnen gages

General Duties may include:

• Daily set up and tear down of dial bore gages, Mueller gages, indicator mics, Sunnen gages, etc.
• Troubleshooting gages as needed.

CMI Group facilities are ITAR regulated. Employees must be able to meet the US Person requirement
