Job summary

Expedite Talent Solutions is seeking a Process Technician (Calibration Technician) for a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Lebanon, IN. You will report to the Hard Services Manager and join a multi‑craft maintenance team; initial assignment is 5 months with potential transition to full‑time.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, calibration of lab equipment and sensors, and ensuring compliance with GMP/GLP and environmental regulations; work with CMMS and safety protocols daily.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of calibration/repair experience with process instrumentation.
  • Electrical trade apprenticeship (4-year) or equivalent preferred.

  • Diagnose problems, calibrate transmitters, actuators, and control loops; document IQ/OQ.
  • Suggest maintenance schedule improvements and support PAM processes.

  • Record work in CMMS and manage documentation for safety and compliance.

Title: Process Technicians (Calibration Technician)

Job Family: E&M

Location: 1400 W 375N, Lebanon, IN 46052

Background Package: Safety Specific – with drug screening

Overview of Work

Pharmaceutical manufacturing facility / office environment. Will report to Hard Services Manager. The team includes maintenance, HVAC technicians, plumbers, and electricians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of benchtop lab equipment, sub‑zero freezers, environmental chambers, and calibrate temperature and pressure gauges.
  • Diagnose problems on instrument loops and control logic; calibrate transmitters, actuators, and sensors; repair components such as control modules, analyzers, and mechanical replacement parts. Perform preventive maintenance and document work (IQ/OQ, Installation Qualification / Operational Qualification).
  • Recommend changes to maintenance schedules; participate in Proactive Asset Management (PAM) process to develop and revise procedures and job plans.
  • Apply safety practices: PPE, shop safety, confined space entry, CFC guidelines, and other applicable safety requirements. Work in a multi‑craft environment and assist other crafts as needed.
  • Complete regulatory training and meet GMP/GLP and environmental regulations. Maintain compliance, manage ITP, and complete documentation associated with maintenance activities.
  • Utilize GMARS, LillyNet, My Workplace, and other corporate systems for time entry, work order notes, email, MSDS, safety manuals, training, and performance management.
  • Maintain safety compliance, attend departmental safety meetings and keep training up to date.
Qualifications

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating electronic equipment in calibration, repair, and service directly related to process instrumentation.
  • Experience with electrical trade apprenticeship (four‑year) or equivalent is preferred.

Education

  • Associate degree in electronics or equivalent (minimum 2 years). 2-5 years of field experience in electronic equipment calibration, repair, and service, or a four‑year apprenticeship in the electrical trade.

Skills

  • Commercial / industrial experience; ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Soft skills: good customer service.
  • Software: use of CMMS system, email.
  • OSHA 10 Construction (preferred but not required).

Additional Information

Potential transition to full‑time position after initial assignment; current assignment duration is 5 months.
