Responsibilities

• Maintain the calibration database and master equipment list, tracking due dates to keep all inspection, measuring, and test equipment compliant and audit-ready.
• Coordinate internal and external calibration activities, including working with ISO/IEC 17025-accredited labs and reviewing certificates for accuracy and traceability.
• Identify, segregate, and control equipment that is damaged, overdue, or out of tolerance, initiating nonconformance documentation as needed.
• Partner with Quality Engineering on Out-of-Tolerance impact assessments to determine whether reinspection or further investigation is required.
• Maintain complete calibration and verification records and support internal, customer, and AS9100 audits of the measurement system.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or associate de gree preferred.
• 2-3 years of calibration, metrology, inspection, or quality experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications, with a working understanding of dimensional tolerances, GD&T, and calibration/measurement-control principles.

Preferred

• Experience in an AS9100-certified aerospace or defense manufacturing facility.
• Exposure to CNC machining or aluminum casting operations.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3, and NIST traceability requirements.
• Formal metrology or calibration training/certification.
• Experience with Gauge R&R and Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
