Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in Rockford, IL seeks an experienced Calibration Technician to perform calibration testing, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on analytical and microbiological lab equipment. You will manage maintenance assignments, coordinate with external vendors, and ensure documentation complies with GAMP and FDA standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5–7 years of related experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with HPLC/GC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or 5-7 years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and perform preventative and corrective maintenance of complex laboratory instrumentation including UPLC, HPLC, GC, GC/MS, UV-VIS, Karl Fischer, FT-IR, Dissolution Testers, Disintegration Testers, Stability Chambers, Autoclaves and Incubators.
• Provide complex to specialized diagnosis, maintenance, qualification, troubleshooting and repairs of instrumentation/equipment.
• Coordinate with external calibration vendors to service instruments and equipment.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with GAMP, FDA, SOPs and Good Documentation Practices.
• Report OOS results and implement instrument adjustments as needed.
