Job summary

Bosch USA offers an internship in Farmington Hills, MI within the Calibration Engineering group of Power Solutions. The program runs for 8 months spanning 2027, starting early in the year. You will contribute to calibration projects, code automated tests, and analyze data from engine and vehicle tests.

The role requires engineering studies with skills in Python/C++, and exposure to automotive systems. On-site work in Michigan with valuable learning opportunities is provided.

Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university and pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, with at least one semester completed
  • Good electrical or mechanical engineering knowledge/background
  • Has worked on/with vehicles/engines
  • Python or C++ skills
  • A minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Must work 35-40 hours per week
  • Valid US driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Powertrain Calibration Projects
  • In-vehicle and engine/chassis dyno testing; data analysis
  • Adaptation and programming of automated test scripts
  • Supporting Calibration Engineer's daily activities (flashing vehicles, analyzing data, validating software and data, etc.)
  • Testing and validation of On-Board Diagnostics
  • Support Test Trips in hot/cold/high altitude environments

Job Description

The internship will be from either January - August 2027, or May - December 2027.

This internship takes place in Farmington Hills, Michigan, the headquarters of Bosch North America, in the Calibration Engineering group of Power Solutions.

The successful candidate will be given an 8-month project, based on their skills and career focus.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
