Job summary

Ricardo is seeking a Contractor - Calibration and Controls Engineer to deliver ongoing client projects in Bridgeport, Alabama. The role focuses on calibration for high-performance gasoline outboard motors, with involvement in engine management systems and control development.

The successful candidate will work on full motor assembly level calibration, support transmission and steering control development, and liaise with customers.

Qualifications

• Calibration and/or controls background required.
• Experience delivering projects in engine calibration or related disciplines.
• Knowledge of Engine Management Systems calibration and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop calibration for high-power gasoline outboard motors.
• Lead calibration development at the full outboard motor assembly level (on boat).
• Support development of control systems (transmission and steering).
• Perform technical analysis to support tasks with evidence-based decisions.
• Deliver tasks on time, within cost and quality targets.
• Liaise with team and client on technical issues; report status to stakeholders.
