Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a Cal OSHA Associate in San Francisco, CA to support clients on workplace safety and health compliance under Cal OSHA regulations and assist on related labor and employment matters.

The ideal candidate holds a J.D. from an ABA‑accredited school, with 3+ years of employment litigation experience and Cal OSHA exposure. California bar admission is required, and strong writing and advocacy skills are essential.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 3+ years of employment litigation experience; Cal OSHA experience required.
• Class action or public sector experience is a plus.
• Admitted to practice law in the State Bar of the Associate's primary office.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support and guide business partners on environmental and workplace safety compliance.
• Manage outside counsel and vendors on global EH&S issues.
• Develop relationships with regulatory agencies and influence policy development.
• Handle litigation related to workplace safety and discrimination matters.
• Represent clients in negotiations and mediations.
• Provide crisis management for workplace safety and health matters.
