Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a cheerful Froster to put finishing touches on cakes and support guests with care. You will follow the NbC frosting recipe, operate mixers and pastry bags, and help prioritize cake pre-orders while keeping the display cases well stocked.

You will train on cake crafting and career growth in a casual, team-oriented bakery that values early evenings, flexible schedules, and a friendly, jeans-and-te sneakers culture.

Qualifications

• Understand written and oral directions, interpret recipes and procedures.
• Knows basic units of measurement used in the U.S.
• Performs repetitive tasks requiring precise hand movements.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
• Meticulous about exact measurements and timing on a fast-paced schedule.
• Maintains health, safety and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Diligent, organized and self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Ability to prioritize workload and stay on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Follows NbC frosting recipe and application methods with precision.
• Uses measuring instruments, mixers, and pastry bags to frost cakes.
• Prioritizes pre-orders and frosts cakes for walk-in guests accordingly.
• Ensures samples and frosted cakes are available for display and maintains frost logs.
• Packages, labels and stores frosted cakes; maintains rotation standards.
• Monitors frosting supplies and notifies when restocking is needed.
• Evaluates baked and frosted cakes for NbC standards and reports quality issues.
• Cleans, sanitizes and restocks workstation; supports next shift.
• Adheres to health and safety guidelines, dress code and hygiene.
• Maintains consistent attendance and punctuality.
