• Six months or less of related work experience; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting every customer and assisting with their needs.
• Check orders for the day and set up timelines and production schedules.
• Decorate bakery items and stay current on new designs and trends.
• Develop daily bakery orders for bakers including cakes and sizes.
• Track daily production and coordinate tasks with coworkers.
• Check product dates, pull cases, and list items to fill or replace.
• Order supplies for decorating area and verify receipt.
• Deliver products and set up wedding cakes on site outside the store.
• Communicate daily with Bakery Manager regarding displays and needs.
• Lead part-time employees and review their work; cross-train teammates.
• Follow sanitation procedures and keep area clean and safe.
• Answer the phone and provide friendly service to callers.
• Adhere to dress code and department guidelines; assist with other tasks as needed.
