Hy-Vee is seeking a Bakery Cake Designer to bring customer visions to life—from birthday and wedding cakes to everyday treats. You’ll decorate, assemble, and deliver on-site and lead part-time teammates to keep production running smoothly.

You'll greet customers, take orders, check details, and ensure cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced bakery. Training is provided, and a passion for decorating and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take bakery orders.
• Set up timeline and production schedule for the day.
• Decorate bakery items and stay current on designs.
• Develop daily bakery orders for bakers.
• Lead part-time employees and coordinate with the bakery team.
• Ensure sanitation and safe workspace.
