Job summary

Sam's Club is seeking a Cake Decorator to support bakery operations in Fresno, CA. You will decorate items, maintain quality and date control, while helping members and engaging with team members to deliver an excellent shopping experience.

You will use decorating bags, tips and nozzles to craft flowers and lettering, follow food safety guidelines, and assist in inventory management and seasonal planning.

Qualifications

• 6 months' experience in fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Complete all required trainings and assessments if selected.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross functional teams and educate others on tools, tasks and resources.
• Educate customers and assist members with purchasing decisions.
• Plan bakery productions ensuring quality and accuracy of decorative designs.
• Operate, maintain and sanitize equipment; manage inventory and cold chain.
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve shopping experience.
• Support seasonal event preparation and date control to reduce waste.
• Model high quality service and train others to work in a respectful, team-oriented style.
• Adhere to policies and standards, and communicate progress to managers.
