Job summary

Sam's Club is seeking a Cake Decorator to enhance member service and deliver high-quality bakery items. You will collaborate with associates to maintain in-store bake readiness and support seasonal events with precise decorating and packaging.

The role emphasizes decorating accuracy, use of decorating tools, food safety, and using handheld tech to assist production and inventory management. Prior bakery experience is preferred and the position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 6 Months' Experience In Fresh Production Area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• I acknowledge that the position requires completion of trainings and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with cross functional teams and educates other associates on tools, tasks and resources; provides customer service focused on member needs.
• Plans bakery productions to ensure quality and decorative accuracy, following recipes and using decorating bags, tips and nozzles for flowers and lettering.
• Leverages digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience, using handheld technology for decisions related to production and product quality.
• Drives bakery performance, manages date control and waste, and prepares for seasonal events impacting bakery volume.
• Acts as a Talent Ambassador, promoting high quality service and training/helpers to work in a team-oriented style.
