Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Deli Bakery Associate to provide friendly, accurate customer service and uphold department standards. You will help with production, labeling, and maintaining sanitation while ensuring food safety and proper handling.

Responsibilities include assisting with ordering, receiving, preparation, and merchandising, and following all company policies. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements and physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the Deli Bakery Department and follow standard practices.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and proper food handling.
• Understand production standards for processing of all products and labeling.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying merchandise according to policies.
• Adhere to Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with apron and name badge when on duty.
• Complete required CBT and training courses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
