Qualificações

• Efficient cake and pastry decorating skills with intermediate piping techniques.
• Understand color theory for buttercream blending and palette coordination.
• Proficiency with icings and following recipes accurately.
• Strong time management and organization skills.
• Advanced knife handling and safety in the bakery environment.
• Basic math for recipe conversions and modifications.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble, fill, and decorate cakes, tarts, select pastry, and special-order bakery items.
• Build, ice, and decorate cakes and other bakery items following standard procedures and maintain records.
• Prioritize production lists and adjust as needed.
• Merchandise and showcase products in the display case and monitor freshness and rotation.
• Provide guidance to Bakery Decorator Apprentices and teammates.
• Create special order cake designs based on customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle phones promptly.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment and adhere to safety standards.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties with accurate signage and pricing.
• Other duties as assigned.
