Job summary

ShopRite of Wallington is seeking a Cake Decorator to support the Bakery Manager with baking, dough mixing, icing, packaging, filling and decorating of pastry items. The role requires maintaining a clean, safe, and visually appealing Bakery department and adhering to company policies.

The position involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in varying temperatures while delivering great customer service and following ShopRite service priorities.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Able to assist Bakery Manager and follow directions.
• Able to stand, bend, lift 25–50 lbs regularly and work in varying temperatures.
• Able to work with food products and maintain sanitation and QA standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work area.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service in the Bakery.
• Follow recipes, weigh ingredients, and help produce pastry items.
• Rotate merchandise and ensure accurate signage and proper stocking.
