Job summary

Sam's Club is seeking a Cake Decorator in Fort Worth, TX. You will support member service, prepare bakery items, and collaborate with associates to meet customer expectations. The role involves decorating cakes, using decorating bags and tools, and maintaining food safety standards.

Qualifications

• 6 months' experience in fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Cake Decorating is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: collaborates with cross functional teams and helps educate others on tools tasks and resources; communicates and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service; flexible to the needs of the business; maintains in-stock levels and controls shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: plans bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs; follows recipes and uses tools to create flowers and lettering; adheres to food safety standards and inventory management.
• Be a Techie: uses digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; utilizes handheld technology for production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality.
• Be an Owner: drives bakery area performance; ensures quality and date control; eliminates waste; prepares for seasonal events; assists members with purchasing decisions and resolving concerns.
