Job summary

Sam's Club in Friendswood, TX is seeking a Cake Decorator to provide excellent member service while producing decorative bakery items. The role involves decorating with tips and nozzles, ensuring food safety and maintaining inventory, while collaborating with team members to meet member expectations.

Hourly wage ranges from $19.00 to $27.00 with potential premiums based on schedule and location. Minimum 6 months’ fresh production experience and ability to work 18+ years old are required.

Responsibilities

• Team Member: Collaborates with cross functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service.
• Expert: Plans bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs; follows recipes and uses decorating tools to create flowers and lettering; maintains food safety, sanitation, and inventory management.
• Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales and improve shopping experience; uses handheld technology for production, merchandising, ordering and training.
• Owner: Drives bakery performance with date control and waste reduction; assists customers with purchasing decisions and resolves issues.
• Talent Ambassador: Represents the brand, trains and mentors others, and promotes respectful, team-oriented service.
