Job summary

Sam's West, Inc. is seeking a Cake Decorator in Council Bluffs, IA to support the Bakery department and help deliver items our members love. You will decorate a variety of bakery goods, take orders, assist customers, and maintain clean, organized displays.

Responsibilities include preparing decorations, following recipes and design specs, and ensuring timely order fulfillment while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 6 months' experience in fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Completion of required trainings and assessments may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains the Bakery area per policy and safety procedures.
• Maintains merchandise presentation and displays.
• Decorates bakery items (cakes, cupcakes, pies) per design specs using decorating bags, tips and nozzles.
• Take bakery orders in person or by phone and assist with purchasing decisions.
• Ensure timely delivery of orders and proper labeling and storage of merchandise.
• Follow safety standards and keep the workspace clean and compliant.
