You will assist in creating beautiful cake artwork and support the Bakery Department with clerk and baker functions, focusing on decorating tasks for those with minimal decorating experience. You will thrive as part of a collaborative team and grow into leadership roles.

Qualifications

• 0 to 6 months experience in bakery or retail is acceptable.
• Must be willing to learn product knowledge and procedures.
• Able to greet guests and provide exemplary service.
• Friendly, creative, and able to inspire others.

Responsibilities

• Learn product knowledge by category, including special orders and cake program.
• Follow procedures to meet in-store stock and display goals.
• Apply merchandising principles to generate sales and WOW guests.
• Maintain safety and sanitation in all bakery areas.
• Provide customer service by helping guests locate and select products.
• Decorate and prepare bakery products for display and sale.
• Record special orders accurately and ensure fresh product.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized.
