Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes Smyrna is looking for part-time and full-time Frosters! You’ll finish cakes and add the final touches for our guests, with evenings off earlier than most food service jobs and flexible work schedules.

The environment is casual—T-shirts and sneakers—and you’ll enjoy cake discounts while making new friends and learning the NbC craft. This role includes training on frosting techniques and career growth, plus a supportive team focused on sharing joy with the community.

Qualifications

• Previous bakery experience is a plus, but not required.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Follow NbC proprietary frosting recipe and application methods with precision and achieves productivity goals.
• Effectively utilize measuring instruments, commercial-grade or handheld mixer and pastry bag to frost cakes.
• Prioritize cake pre-orders according to schedule and frosts cakes for walk-in guest orders accordingly.
• Ensure an adequate supply of samples and frosted cakes are available for guests in the bakery display case and maintains appropriate frosting and frosted cake par levels.
• Adhere to the proper packaging, labeling and storage of frosted cakes as well as product rotation standards, and maintains frosting and refrigeration logs.
• Monitor inventory of frosting supplies and notifies management when replenishment is required.
• Evaluate baked and frosted cakes to ensure NbC standards are met and informs management of any quality control issues.
• Clean, sanitize and restock workstation, ensure frosting supplies are sufficiently prepared for the next shift, and wash any equipment in the absence of the Dishwasher/Utility Employee.
• Comply with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.
• Maintain a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Part-time Frosters will be scheduled 20-35 hours per week Monday-Saturday. Must have the flexibility to work two or more morning, midday, or evening shifts. Shifts times may vary but typically the hours are morning (8:30am-3pm), midday (10am-4pm, evening (1:30pm-7:30pm). Bakery hours are Monday-Saturday: 9am-7pm, Sunday: 11am-4pm.
