Off The Hook in Gonzales, LA is seeking a motivated kitchen team member to support a fast‑paced Cajun kitchen. You’ll wash dishes, keep all areas clean, assist with food prep, and help ensure safe, high‑quality meals are prepared and served efficiently.

Ideal candidates are detail‑oriented, able to work evenings and weekends, complete company training, and at least 16 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may change
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Must complete all required Off The Hook company training programs
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
• Must possess a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes at a high-quality that meet our restaurant's standards
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls, and floors
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, maintaining a high level of energy
• Take pride in crafting exceptional dishes and delivering a memorable dining experience
• Handle a variety of kitchen tasks, including food preparation, cooking, and cleaning
• Follow all food safety regulations and procedures, including proper handling and storage of food, to prevent contamination and ensure the health of guests
• Use kitchen equipment and appliances safely and effectively, performing basic maintenance and reporting any malfunctions to management
• Work closely with other kitchen team and communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth kitchen operations
