Job summary

Off The Hook Restaurants is seeking a dishwasher to support a busy Cajun kitchen in Denham Springs, LA. You will wash dishes, keep work areas clean, and help maintain the overall kitchen efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

You will follow food safety rules, assist with basic prep and cleaning, and work with the team to ensure timely service. Must be 16+ years old and ready to complete company training; some college preferred for advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorates that may be change
• Must complete all required Off The Hook company training programs
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
• Possess a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes at a high-quality that meet our restaurant's standards
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls, and floors
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, maintaining a high level of energy
• Take pride in crafting exceptional dishes and delivering a memorable dining experience
• Handle a variety of kitchen tasks, including food preparation, cooking, and cleaning
• Follow all food safety regulations and procedures, including proper handling and storage of food, to prevent contamination and ensure the health of guests
• Use kitchen equipment and appliances safely and effectively, performing basic maintenance and reporting any malfunctions to management
• Work closely with other kitchen team and communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth kitchen operations
