Job summary

Off The Hook is a Cajun, quick-casual dining concept and the only authentic option in town. We’re seeking a Cook to help set the tone in a fast-paced kitchen and ensure every dish meets our premium Real Cajun Real Fast standard.

As a team member, you’ll keep the kitchen clean, collaborate with others, and help deliver top-notch Cajun meals in a welcoming environment. Training programs are provided, and the role requires flexibility in shifts.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant experience.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Must complete all required Off The Hook company training programs.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals that meet our restaurant's standards.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, maintaining a high level of energy.
• Take pride in crafting exceptional dishes and delivering a memorable dining experience.
• Handle kitchen tasks, including food preparation, cooking and cleaning.
• Follow all food safety regulations and procedures to prevent contamination and ensure the health of guests.
• Use kitchen equipment safely and effectively, reporting any malfunctions to management.
• Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
