Off The Hook Restaurants in Denham Springs, LA, seeks a Cook to join our fast-paced Cajun kitchen. You’ll help ensure high standards for every dish, keep the station clean, and contribute to our Real Cajun Real Fast dining experience.

We value reliability and teamwork, require 1 year of restaurant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred), and the ability to work varied shifts including weekends. Must complete all company training and be at least 16 years old.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may change.
• Able to work a variety of shifts including days, weekends, and travel as needed for work related functions and training.
• 1 year of restaurant experience.
• Must complete all required Off The Hook company training programs.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
• Possess a valid driver's license.

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, maintaining a high level of energy
• Take pride in crafting exceptional dishes and delivering a memorable dining experience
• Handle a variety of kitchen tasks, including food preparation, cooking and cleaning
• Follow all food safety regulations and procedures, including proper handling and storage of food, to prevent contamination and ensure the health of guests
• Use kitchen equipment and appliances safely and effectively, performing basic maintenance and reporting any malfunctions to management
• Work closely with other kitchen team and communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth kitchen operations
